POLAR BEAR ICE

Servicing the Vancouver Since 1994.

 Since 1994, Polar Bear Ice has built a reputation as an established player in the ice manufacturing industry with distribution spanning throughout Western Canada’s food and hospitality industry. 

 

In addition to servicing the food industry, our ice products can be found in hotels, restaurants, cruise ships, night clubs, construction sites, gas stations, camping grounds, movie sets and special events.

 

In our Surrey facility, Polar Bear manufactures ice cubes, and block ice for ice carvings for the Vancouver Lower Mainland (Burnaby, Coquitlam, Surrey, Langley, Cloverdale, Richmond) and Alberta.

To ensure our customers are receiving a quality product, all water used for manufacturing is treated and tested on a regular basis.

Due to the importance of water in our life we give 99.99% pure water to our customers.

5 Steps Filtration

Water has different types of impurity. 5 steps Micron Filtration Filter removes all the impurity of the water.

Cholorine Free

We serve our water chlorine free to think about clients' lives since chlorine causes serious damage to our health.

How It Works

Water in Motion

Our unique process freezes water in motion, allowing the pure water to freeze first and any remaining "impurities" to run off.

Keeping Cool

Polar Bear Ice is hard frozen and lasts longer. By freezing water in motion, our process doesn't trap any air in the ice resulting in a solid piece ice that will last longer.

Clearer is Better

Polar Bear Ice's various filtration methods accompanied by our unique freezing process results in the production of crystal clear ice frozen from pure water.

Pure Freezes First

One of the basic laws of nature is that pure water will freeze at 32 degrees. Water containing impurities and foreign debris will have a lower freezing point.

No Snow

"Snow" in a bag of ice is like mortar for bricks. We remove the snow to keep our ice loose and ready to use.

Multiple Purification

Polar Bear Ice utilizes multiple filtration processes to ensure that only pure water is used in the production of our ice.
